According to a Forbes study, the Ryan ToysReview family channel earned approximately $22 million between June 1, 2017, and June 1, 2018—double what it made the previous year.

Ryan, born on October 6, 2010, in Texas, is the son of Sean, an engineer, and a former chemistry teacher. His journey into YouTube began when he expressed a desire to review his toys. With his parents’ support, he started his channel—and it took off.

The channel’s breakthrough came in July 2015 when a video featuring Ryan opening and reviewing a box of over 100 Pixar *Cars* toys went viral. At just four years old, Ryan became a YouTube sensation. That video alone has amassed over 937 million views.

Ryan ToysReview, now called Ryan’s World, features regular reviews of toys and children’s products, often highlighted by Ryan’s cheerful commentary.

The channel’s success led to collaborations, including a branded toy line, Ryan’s World, available in over 2,500 U.S. Walmart stores and online. Ryan also stars in *Ryan’s Mystery Playdate*, a 20-episode TV show.

By August 2019, the channel had over 20 million subscribers and 31 billion total views. Ryan’s success placed him eighth in Forbes’ ranking of top bloggers, while his mother left her job to manage video recording and editing full-time.
