Mithun Chakraborty, one of India’s most renowned actors, has appeared in over 350 films, earning a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. Loved for his roles and respected for his philanthropy, he donates half of his earnings to those in need, a gesture shaped by his own struggles with poverty early in life.

Fans were particularly touched by Mithun and his wife, actress Yogita Bali, adopting a baby girl despite already having three sons.

The story began when the couple read about a severely malnourished infant abandoned in the trash. After doctors saved the child’s life, Mithun and Yogita decided to adopt her, naming her Dishani.

Dishani was raised with love and care, never feeling different from her family. Her brothers treated her like a princess, and she grew up knowing she was adopted but felt no less cherished.

Now 25, Dishani lives in the United States, pursuing her dream of acting.

A graduate of the New York Film Academy, she has appeared in three short films and works as a model while gaining stage experience, including performing in a Broadway play.

Despite her father’s fame, Dishani has chosen to carve her own path, building her career independently without relying on her family’s connections—a choice that has earned admiration from many.
