Matthew McConaughey, 53, experienced intense stress after an incident involving his wife, Camila Alves. The actor was deeply concerned when Camila’s recent flight nearly turned tragic.

While flying from Austin to Frankfurt on a Lufthansa plane, the aircraft encountered serious issues, forcing an emergency landing at a Virginia airport. Camila was among the passengers on board, and it was a close call as the incident could have cost many lives.

The model and entrepreneur shared a video on social media showing the devastating condition of the cabin after the emergency.

Camila explained that while flying over Tennessee, the plane suddenly plunged into a severe air pocket, causing it to drop nearly a kilometer in just seconds. The turbulence was so violent that eyewitnesses reported the plane nearly breaking apart in mid-air.

Fortunately, the crew managed to make an emergency landing, but it was a rough one. The impact resulted in 36 passengers being injured, with seven requiring hospitalization.

Matthew McConaughey was understandably shaken by the news, relieved that Camila emerged unharmed after the terrifying ordeal. While the incident was traumatic, he is grateful that she is safe.
