Gordon Ramsay shares a fatherhood update after welcoming a new baby, seven years after their loss…

Gordon Ramsay is widely recognized for his fiery personality and exceptional skills that have made him a culinary icon for decades. Recently, he opened up about his experiences as a father of six, sharing how things are going with his newborn son, Jesse James.

At the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas this past weekend, Ramsay, now 57, spoke fondly about the arrival of Jesse, who weighed seven pounds, ten ounces.

With humor, Ramsay reflected on becoming a father again at his age, saying, “Just extraordinary… blessed. I’ll probably be the oldest dad at school drop-off, so I’ll be sure to wear my cap and glasses!” The proud dad even posted pictures of Jesse on social media, captioning it with “3 boys, 3 girls…done.”

His wife, Tana, shared the news of Jesse’s birth online as well, acknowledging how nerve-wracking the nine months had been and celebrating their growing family. The couple’s journey has also included heartache.

In 2016, they tragically lost a son, Rocky, at five months. Ramsay expressed gratitude to supporters during that difficult time, while Tana later opened up in a 2020 interview, especially after seeing Chrissy Teigen’s public story of loss.

Tana admired Teigen’s openness, relating to her experience and the struggle to discuss miscarriage openly. Reflecting on her own loss, she shared how challenging it was when others avoided the topic, despite her need to talk about it. Gordon’s support, she noted, was a source of strength, as he encouraged open conversations about their loss.

The family has since welcomed their fifth child, Oscar, in 2019, and with Jesse’s arrival in 2023, Ramsay declared their family “complete.”
