Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, known for his years with the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos, was recently arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, on a DUI charge.
The incident took place on October 17, and Cutler’s mug shot has since been widely circulated, drawing significant attention from fans and media alike.
Alongside the DUI charge, he faces additional counts for failure to exercise due care, violation of the implied consent law, and possession of a handgun while under the influence. He was taken to Williamson County Jail and later released on a $5,000 bond.
Cutler, who retired in 2017 after a 12-year NFL career, gained respect as a skilled quarterback and built a strong fan base. Since then, he has remained largely out of the public eye, aside from some appearances on reality TV and in sports commentary.
Cutler’s personal life has also seen changes recently. He and his ex-wife, Kristin Cavallari, share three children, and Cavallari recently shared on her podcast that their custody arrangement has been adjusted, though she didn’t provide further details.
The two were married in 2013 and divorced in 2022, with aspects of their relationship appearing on their show “Very Cavallari.” Despite the challenges he’s currently facing, fans hope Cutler can move past these difficulties and focus on a positive future.
