Kate Middleton is set to break tradition at King Charles’ coronation, defying expectations…

The British public eagerly anticipated the coronation, curious about the grand dress and jewels Kate Middleton would wear for such a significant event.

The biggest question on fans’ minds was which tiara the Princess of Wales would choose, as it was assumed she would wear one, given her status. It has always been customary for her to appear in a tiara at major events like this.

Fans speculated she would pick one of her two go-to tiaras, often seen at formal receptions. However, many were left disappointed when rumors surfaced that Kate might attend the coronation without a tiara.

There are even whispers that she might forgo her evening attire altogether, as reported by People.

Although it’s not yet officially confirmed, the royal jeweler revealed he hasn’t received instructions to prepare any of the tiaras for Middleton. Typically, he ensures the tiaras are cleaned and repaired for such significant occasions, making sure the antique pieces sparkle like new.

Meanwhile, Charles has opted for tradition, choosing St. Edward’s crown from the 17th century, a historic piece used in past coronations.

Camilla, like Kate, is also set to break with custom. Instead of commissioning a new crown, as is tradition for queens, Camilla will wear Queen Mary’s crown from the early 20th century.

Kate’s decision to skip the tiara likely reflects a desire for a more modest appearance in line with modern sensibilities. After all, Charles’ coronation will be far less grandiose compared to Elizabeth’s.
