Many of us grew up singing nursery rhymes and have shared them with our children. Whether your favorites were “Humpty Dumpty” or “Wheels on the Bus,” they were always enjoyable.
One adorable little girl captured the hearts of many with her version of “Old MacDonald.” Josie, a charming two-year-old with a love for animals, even has a puppet toy featuring barnyard animals instead of fingers.
In a video, Josie stands in the doorway of her parents’ bedroom, singing a sweet but slightly improvised version of “Old MacDonald.” While she may not know all the lyrics or the song’s official name, she’s got the animal sounds down perfectly.
Josie enthusiastically sings, putting her own spin on the song’s characters. “And on his farm, he had a little dog, ee I ee I oh, with a woof woof there and a woof woof there,” she sings in her adorable, high-pitched voice.
Her radiant smile lights up the room throughout her performance. As she sings about a ‘little duck’ for the grand finale, her father filming the video can’t help but laugh at the cute ending.
Josie is truly a sweet little girl. To watch her endearing rendition of “Old MacDonald,” check out the video below!
