A recent clip from the upcoming season of Apple TV+’s drama “The Morning Show” has created a stir online. The video features Jennifer Aniston’s character, Alex Levy, being splashed with fake oil by protestors.

Before the third season even premiered, “The Morning Show” was renewed for a fourth season. On July 8th, Aniston shared an Instagram photo with co-star Reese Witherspoon, signaling that filming had started for the new season. Since then, images and footage of Aniston getting drenched in fake oil have surfaced online.

The clip recently surfaced on Twitter from TikTok, quickly catching people’s attention. It shows Aniston’s character facing protestors, who are climate activists brandishing signs like ‘Truth Warrior.’ Suddenly, fake oil is thrown at her, leaving her stunned and covered in the substance.

Fans took to social media to react, with some initially confused about whether it was a real incident. One Twitter user questioned why protestors were targeting Aniston, while others were curious about their motive. The full clip, however, shows the word ‘cut,’ indicating it was a scripted scene.

“It’s clearly acting,” one user clarified. “That’s from the show. In a longer version of the video, you can hear ‘cut’ at the end, and everyone breaks,” another noted. It’s important to remember that this was just a scene from the show, not a real-life event.

Apple TV+ has not yet announced an official release date for the fourth season of “The Morning Show,” but it is expected to stream in 2025.
