Despite doubts about her survival, this baby displayed remarkable strength in battling her disease…

Armani Milby, the daughter of Chelsey from Kentucky, was born with a rare condition that caused significant swelling in her arms and chest, resembling a bodybuilder’s physique.

Despite a challenging initial three months requiring specialized medical care, Armani’s prognosis has improved, with further treatments planned.

Chelsey recounts the difficult journey since Armani’s birth but remains hopeful for their recovery.

The anomaly was discovered 17 weeks into Chelsey’s pregnancy, diagnosed as a severe case of lymphangioma, resulting in benign tumors and significant swelling.

Despite doctors initially giving Armani a “zero percent” survival rate, she defied the odds, being born prematurely at 33 weeks weighing 12 pounds. Chelsey’s pronounced pregnancy led to speculation about triplets.

The diagnosis left Chelsey shocked and apprehensive, unfamiliar with the condition and its outcomes. However, Armani’s resilience has eased some of her fears.

After surgeries to reduce fluid buildup, Armani earned the nickname “squishy” due to excess skin, expected to normalize over time.

Chelsey remains optimistic about Armani’s future, acknowledging the scars from surgeries but grateful for her daughter’s progress.

Armani, now nine months old, is preparing for another surgery, while Chelsey battles postpartum depression, striving to stay strong for her family.

Despite daily challenges, Chelsey finds solace in Armani’s developmental milestones and eagerly anticipates her first words. Grateful for her “miracle baby,” Chelsey is relieved and hopeful for Armani’s health and future.
