Enter 17-year-old Maki Currin from Texas, recently officially recognized as the woman with the longest legs.

As the Guinness World Record holder, Maki is pleased to have gained fame. She aims to inspire teenagers of all heights with her example, offering support and emphasizing that this naturally given trait should not be a cause for complexes.

Maki acknowledges that her legs didn’t draw much attention earlier, but her tall stature subjected her to mockery.

“I was teased for being taller than others… no one noticed that the legs were too long. It wasn’t until I grew up that I stopped paying attention to others’ reactions. It doesn’t hurt me anymore, but there are many other smaller individuals suffering among peers,” she shared in an interview.

Maki highlights the challenges tall people face in finding suitable clothing and shoes, often unable to find items they like in their size. Cars, doors, and furniture designed for average-sized individuals present additional difficulties.

Yet, Maki recognizes the advantages; her tall stature aids her in playing volleyball and reaching items in upper drawers and shelves.

Naturally, she has garnered a substantial following on social media thanks to her unique features.

Maki Kurrin has ambitious plans, intending to pursue further education in the UK. Another goal is to secure a place in the Guinness World Records, this time in a different category. Her dream is to become the tallest professional model.
