A 28-year-old woman, Hannah Zimunje, gave birth prematurely to twins at just 25 weeks into her pregnancy. Deiniol and Dylan weighed approximately 900 grams each.

While Dylan did not face any particular health challenges, Deiniol was extremely fragile, and there were concerns among doctors about his survival.

Immediately after birth, both babies received intensive care in the neonatal unit, where the neonatologist placed them together in the same incubator.
