Your heart will melt at the endearing tale of a young child and her love for the family dog.

Emily Slobotski, Emily’s mother, says that her three-year-old daughter Emily, and her beloved dog, Rudy, have been getting along well and are the best of friends.

They just performed a cute dance from Emily’s all-time favorite film, Beauty and the Beast.

Slobotski said, “We were watching ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for the 100th time and she wanted to put her costume on to be Belle, and she insisted that Rudy try his [costume], too,”

She added, “She took it from there, and he gave her about 40 seconds of dancing before he was done. It was the sweetest little moment. I couldn’t handle it when she tried to put her head on his shoulder.”

Their friendship seems to be filled with sweet and tender moments like these. “My husband and I love seeing her grow up with Rudy by her side!” Slobotski said. “He is the most loving, gentle giant.”

We are definitely in need of a few tissues because this story is so beautiful.
