A mother burst into tears after her baby’s odd name was criticized on social media. Liana Jade, 24, and her husband Connor Darlington named their kid Koazy, pronounced Cozy. After the pseudonym was ridiculed online, she took to TikTok and made a video justifying their decision. The matter of unique names was explored on The Unplanned Podcast, presented by Abby and Matt Howard, according to Liana.
While the pair did not mention Koazy by name, they did say that odd baby names are ‘out of control’ and ‘stupid.’ The hosts also suggested that giving your child an uncommon name is a’red flag,’ and that ‘it might not be the flex you think it is.’ That’s when Liana resorted to TikTok to share her son’s name to her followers. “Some say we named him Koazy because he was so comfortable in the womb.” “But no,” Liana said.
“It was a name we already had, and as I became more pregnant, people kept telling me, ‘He’s so cozy in your belly.'” “It verified what we should call him… ‘Oh my God, it’s meant to be,’ we exclaimed. The mother stated that she was aware that the name she chose for her child would not be popular with everyone. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.” But it’s different when there’s a comment section available on such a prominent influencer’s video with individuals, fully grown adults, slandering my baby’s name,” she stated.
Many people defended her, with one stating, “My family disagreed with our baby name… We live in the United Kingdom and named our son Randy… They despised it, but I couldn’t care less! Ignore them, sweetie.” “Koazy is a cute name it fits him so well it’s so sweet and cute,” another person said. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THEM.” What are your thoughts on this?
