Sarah Patricia Jones is a British salsa dancer best known for winning the Spanish talent show T s vales with her dancing partner Nico in 2009. Paddy and Nico finished 10th overall in the eighth season of the British Talent Competition in 2014. She is now recognized as “the most established gymnastic salsa performer” by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Paddy and Nico auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent’s ninth season in 2014. Their audition was aired on ITV in the United Kingdom on April 12. At the end of the audition, Judge Amanda Holden used her Golden Buzzer to send the couple to the semi-finals. Simon Cowell grumbled the exhibition but later apologized for murmuring too quickly.
Paddy and Nico were forced to quit the program on May 29 after Paddy hurt her rib while training for another routine with Nico, with Amanda Holden expressing her disappointment: “Since the moment I first watched Paddy’s dance, I fell crazy for her.” And I honestly feel she could have won it all. The next day, however, it was announced that Paddy and Nico would still participate on the show, as Paddy’s condition improved and doctors gave her the all-clear.
Paddy told the show’s producers that she thought it was “adequate for relocation,” adding that “England’s headhunter is something I absolutely need to accomplish.” Paddy and Nico went to the show’s May 31 finale after defeating vocalist Bailey McConnell in the semi-finals with three favorable adjudicator votes. On June 7, 2014, they completed one more daily practice in the live event, ending 10th overall.
In 2015, they participated in the German version of the program “Das Supertalent” as “Paddy and Nico.” They finally came on December 12, 2015. They finished tenth out of twelve newcomers. Paddy and Nico were invited to appear on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2019. They advanced to the final after receiving a fantastic signal from official David Walliams. They were annihilated in the last battle. Paddy and Nico were invited to appear on America’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2020 (Season 2). Unfortunately, they were removed.
