Gostami Sitole, an African mother, gave birth to ten children at once, setting a new Guinness World Record if confirmed by physicians.

The statement concerning the woman’s husband was originally shared by the local news source Independent Online on Tuesday.

As of yet, neither doctors nor the Ministry have validated this information.

According to Sitole’s wife, the children were born via Caesarean section. Previously, the woman had given birth to twins.

A statement regarding the birth of a ten-child compatriot has yet to be issued by local doctors.

If the hospital personnel confirms this, it will be recognized as a world record and entered into the Guinness Book of Records.

On the first line of this part of the Guinness Book of Records is a resident of Mali Halima Cisse, who gave birth to nine children in May.
