Dwayne Johnson surprised a fan whose story touched him before Thanksgiving with an early Christmas gift.

On Instagram, the 49-year-old “Red Notice” star uploaded a poignant video of himself presenting Navy veteran Oscar Rodriguez with his personalized Ford F-150 Raptor.

Johnson wants to do “something cool” for all of his fans who attended a special theater showing of his new film “Red Notice.” Moviegoers were treated to free beverages and ice cream while watching the flick.

According to one fan, The Rock wanted to do something “huge” and “unforgettable.” His first goal was to give away the Porsche Taycan he drove in the movie, but Porsche declined.

Johnson went above and beyond by donating his personal custom truck, which he describes to as his “baby.”

«I gathered as much information as I could on everyone in the audience, and ultimately, Oscar’s story impacted me,» he wrote on Instagram.

Rodriguez embodies what it is to be a good person. He’s a quiet Navy veteran who cares after his 75-year-old mother, volunteers at his church, and helps women who have been victims of domestic violence.

Johnson can be seen in the video making an unexpected appearance at the screening, much to the delight of his fans. He then mentioned Rodriguez and invited him to sit in the front row with him.

«Your story really struck me because I hear you’re a personal trainer, and you’re continuously keeping things positive, encouraging, and optimistic,» Johnson said to Rodriguez as the audience watched.

“I’m just speechless,” Rodriguez replied. I’m so delighted to meet you; I’m feeling so encouraged and energized right now. Your motivation inspires me. I follow you on Instagram and pay attention to what you say. You are an inspiration to me. And, sure, let’s do it. Let us transform the world one person at a time.”

Johnson then brought Rodriguez outside to show him something—a note he had written to “Oscar.”

Rodriguez had no idea that the letter’s message would change his life. He pulled out the card and read it aloud. «Thank you for your service, brother,» it said. «Have fun with your new truck.»

When Rodriguez realized what had happened, he knelt beside the truck and sobbed.

He shouted, «What the hell is going on?» Rodriguez got up and hugged Johnson, overcome with emotion.

«I was under the impression that this was your truck, bro!» «It’s my truck!» Rodriguez exclaimed to the actor. It’s now your truck!»

Rodriguez then used FaceTime to show his girlfriend who he was hanging out with.

Near the end of the film, the new owner of the Ford F-150 Raptor is seen driving away with his new car. «It’s simply love, bro,» Rodriguez remarked before Johnson did. That was correct.

«It was a tremendous honor for me to deliver a little bit of joy to someone who deserved a lot more than just my truck,» Johnson said, before joking that he needed to figure out how to get home because he didn’t have a ride.

Rodriguez later posted the same video to Instagram, along with a shot of himself standing in front of the vehicle.
